Diane is completing her Internship in Counseling while pursuing her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She also received her B.S. in Business from Capella and an A.A.S. in specialized technology from Keystone Technical Institute. She is dedicated to cultivating a warm, supportive, and empowering space for clients to work towards their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
Clinical Focus Areas and Counseling Approach
Diane offers in-person and online counseling at Free Spirit for individuals aged 5 & up. She works with clients seeking support for: life transitions, holistic wellness, personal growth, self-esteem building, stress management, emotion regulation, codependency, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and more. Her tailored therapeutic approach draws on humanistic and holistic therapy, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based psychotherapy, play therapy and creative arts therapy to best meet clients’ needs.

Professional Experience
Diane has spent the last 18 years dedicated to the dental, healthcare, and mental health settings, where she gained a wealth of experience working clinically and administratively with diverse populations. Additionally, she received diplomas in medical billing and coding, dental assisting, and medical assisting from Allied Health Schools. Her background equipped her with a unique perspective on holistic care and the complexity of navigating delicate concerns. In her roles, Diane developed strong skills in patient advocacy, cultural competence, empathetic communication, and attention to detail. This experience enhances her ability to support clients by providing culturally sensitive and compassionate care tailored to each unique client.
